XTK-500E Macro and Function keys

 

The Xtech XTK-500 Gaming Keyboard has "Customizable G-keys" that provide gamers with quick access commands. Macros are designed to simplify long, complex sequences at the touch of a single keystroke. Setting up macros is really easy in the Xtech gamer keyboard.


How to set up macro keys:
 
1.  Press the Rec key once, the CAPS, NUM Lock and Scroll Lock LEDs on the keyboard will start flashing slowly.
2.   Press the desired G macro (G1-G4) key you would like to assign a multi-command sequence (up to 12 key combinations). The LED light will start flashing fast.
3.   Enter the desired key combinations.
4.  Press the programmed macro key again to finalize the setup. The macro key will have now the selected key combination saved.
5.   Repeat the same process for all the desired macro keys you wish to program.
 

How to reset the macro keys:

1.   Press the Rec once, the CAPS, NUM Lock and Scroll Lock LEDs on the keyboard will start flashing slowly.
2.  Press the desired G macro (G1-G4) key you would like to set back to default or remove the programmed key combinations.
3.  Press the Rec key again to finalize the setup. Once done, the macro key will be cleared of any previously saved function.
4.    Repeat steps 1-3 to reset the remaining macro keys to their factory default value.
 

How to use the Fn keys:

1.      FN + F1 = Opens media player
2.      FN + F2 = Volume down
3.      FN + F3 = Volume up
4.      FN + F4 = Mute
5.      FN + F5 = Stop
6.      FN + F6 = Previous track
7.      FN + F7 = Play/ Pause
8.      FN + F8 = Next track

9.      FN + F9 = Opens email
10.  FN + F10 = Web/ Home
11.  FN + F11 = Locks keyboard keys
12.  FN + F12 = Opens calculator
13.  FN + W =  WASD keys changes to Up, Down, Left, Right
14.  FN + Q = Sets up button transmission rate
